Maudrian Burton-Ebsworth is a Senior Nurse Leader, Researcher, and Lecturer with extensive experience in nursing, leadership, and governance. As PSIRF Engagement Lead, she champions the development of a Just Culture within her organisation, promoting learning, transparency, and psychological safety.
In her role as Lead Cultural Intelligence Facilitator, Maudrian works with senior leaders to deliver the ‘WeBelong’ Strategy, embedding diversity, inclusion, and belonging across all levels of the organisation. She also serves as Co-Chair of the BAME Network and is a member of the Chief Nursing Officer’s and Chief Midwifery Officer’s BME Strategic Advisory Groups, where she contributes to shaping national strategies on equity, wellbeing, and inclusive leadership across the NHS.
An alumnus of the NIHR 70@70 Senior Nurse Research Leader Programme and the Aspiring Associate Director Programme, Maudrian has collaborated nationally and internationally to strengthen nursing and midwifery research capacity.
Outside her professional roles, she is a Trustee at the Central Baptist Church in Chelmsford and a mentor through the Anglia Ruskin University SHoKE Programme, supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders.
